DAY 2
July 31
Actually got a little bit of sleep last night about 4 hours so that's good. Actually went to the store last night so I have some sustenance, woke up had a great breakfast, fixed lunch and went to class. Got there and my group of 3 was down one because classmate had to go take his Permit Test which he passed, he came back to class and we practiced straight line backing which is the easiest but most important to learn. Then we did a right sided off set which I'm a little rusty but with practice will get it. Also worked on Pre-Trip, coming along really well most of it is coming back from Millis, with some modifications things Ohio did that Tennessee doesn't. We broke for lunch, we had a chat session, I asked exactly how long we had to be with our trainer, I have had several different numbers. He said the entire training process is 8 weeks. We are in class for 4 weeks then with our trainer for 4 weeks. Which is going to be fast but exciting that I can provide a better life for my family sooner then I thought, which is super exciting.
After Lunch the instructor told the others in the class to continue pre-trip and backing, looked at me Poyser Grab your paperwork we going driving?????? Wait WHAT??? Okay, so we got behind the wheel and down the road, only went 20 miles down the road but did it in "city" traffic which I really Struggled with while at Millis. Got back to the school and he said "Great Job, for first time driving for a while, take the SMALL Notes I gave you and you will do amazing. I'll call it a win. Now sitting back in the apartment chilling take notes watch some driving videos catching up with favorite youtubers and going over Pre-Trip..
Thanks For Traveling with me.
